Vegewind is the flagship of Navigator Sail Training e.V. and was built by the long term unemployed who got their vocational training on boat-building at the Aucoop- Bootswerkstatt in Bremen. Built in1954 in Les Sables-d’Olonne, France at the shipyard Union et Travail. Was operated for years by the group Refuge des Marins in Brittany until the 1980s when it was purchased by Christian and Suzanne de Parada in 1986. Used for sail training with youth.

Alba Venturer was designed and built by Oyster Marine Ltd in 1998 and launched in 1999. She has a standard Oyster 70 hull, but is fitted to the Ocean Youth Trust’s specifications for sail training and sails mainly around the west coast of Scotland.
Atene was built in Svendborg in Denmark in 1909 and called Emanuel. Atene now sails from May to October principally with school classes but she can also be chartered privately. The aim of the organisation is to maintain old sailing ship traditions and to teach young people seamanship as practised in the past.
