Biography
"Vestavind" is self-built in Horten, Norway in 1993. Building material is ferro-cement. The home port is Drammen. Motor is a 115 hp Perkins.
She is built according to drawings by RS6 "Nordland". "Nordland" was built in 1894 and went down already in 1900. In the six years she was in operation, she rescued 144 people and 39 vessels.
