Tallinn hosted the Tall Ships Races for the first time in 1992 and will host the fleet for the second time in 2021. The city will welcome the Tall Ships to its coastline for what will be a spectacular event.
The festivities take place across four days from the 15 – 18 July, the Tall Ships will then sail out in a spectacular parade of sail before the start of Race Two where they will head for Mariehamn, Aland Islands.
The city, which is located on the southern coast of Finnish Bay, has previously been the European Capital of Culture in 2011 and is recognised as a Unesco World Heritage site as one of the most well preserved medieval cities in Europe.
The capital of Estonia has lots to offer for visitors with plenty of facilities including restaurants and museums within close proximity of the harbour areas.
