Next year Gothenburg celebrates turning 400 years old and will mark the celebrations with a Jubilee weekend that commemorates the city’s long standing relationship with the sea. Tall Ships from around the world will be visiting the Swedish capital, which will be in full party mood with a series of cultural activities, art installations, live music and other entertainment.
On Saturday 5 June, the visiting fleet of historic Tall Ships will take part in a spectacular parade of sail in Frihamnen harbour in the heart of the city centre. Alongside this stunning parade, visitors will be able to see the ships up close across the Jubilee weekend in port as they open their decks to spectators.
